Diagnostics for broken Outlook 2002
A computer with Outlook has come our way, and outlook will sometimes send messages and sometimes it wont sent messages. I know with Linux, this kind of problem is very fixable. I would just take a look at the logs, find the problem and fix it. How do I do this with Outlook, as the owner of the computer has gotten himself attached to it? I am going to relay the outlook mail through a Debian server to get some kind of info on the problem, but this might not be enough. How do I get to the Outlook logs?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to setup cached mode in outlook 2003 automatically for every user who logs into Outlook. I have this problem: When I want to reply a message my outlook 2002 normally turn on word as edit-program (as I have set up). This funktion has worked normally since I got this program. How to edit a post in outlook 2007?
I used to create a post with Ctrl,Shift,S, and then I can edit it any time I like. After upgarding to 2007, I found post can be created, but can only be editted when creating it. When trying to add something new in my old post, I can only select but edit. Is this a new feature of OL 2007. If so, is there is any option I can configure to disable this? Outlook response time
I have Outlook 2003 SP3. Lately the time it takes to create a new message (using MS Word as the editor) it can take 2 - 5 minutes for the blank form to appear. The 2 - 5 minute wait also happens when attempting to reply to a message. I check properties of the PC, and the processor(s) are running 100%. This could be the only program open, or one of two or three, with the same results. Any ideas to make this go away, besides a new PC? If I remove Outlook Express will I be able to download it off Internet at no charge? OE came with my Microsoft Office XP and MS Office XP came already loaded on my laptop. We run an Exchange 2003 system, with clients that are either Outlook 2002 or 2003. Some have found a problem with meeting rooms bookings (via Outlook calendars) being doubled booked due to the fact that by default, when you configure an all day meeting the time is set as 'free' not 'busy' and other users are able to create appointments over the top. Recover Outlook Tasks
I use tasks as a to-do list and have a problem with some tasks that have been deleted by a synchronisation. I sync a PocketPC2002 pda with a notebook and a desktop both running XP Outlook 2002. I didn't realise when doing a recent sync (ActiveSync 3.7.1) with the notebook that many of my tasks were deleted. Outlook 2003 won't shutdown normally
If I have OL2003 running when I do a Shutdown in W2K, the next time I boot up, OL grouches that it wasn't shut down normally the last time and it does a PST repair scan. If I close it first before doing a shutdown this doesn't happen. I know - just shut it down first, but just one more complication in a complicated life. I'm having problems with send/and receive. All the information in my email account is correct and yet the pop3 fails. MY ISP is comcast and they have given the correct port. I am running XP. I'm having problems with send/and receive. All the information in my email account is correct and yet the pop3 fails. MY ISP is comcast and they have given the correct port. I am running XP. When I go into Detect and Repair, I get a pop up box for Windows Installer it says the patch package could not be opened. Verify ....... I'm wondering if I could use Outlook with MNS hotmail.com. Would you know the correct POP address and the Port Number. I might have better luck with my outlook email if I use hotmail instead of comcast. Comcast is sooo bad. They couldn't help ...
