I posted a query last week about why my Junk email was no longer working and
all emails were going to my Inbox.
I appear to have solved the problem by uninstalling the junk mail filter
update of 11th Oct 2006.
Outlook is now filtering junk mail correctly again.

How do you select a cell with an "absolute" address with a cursor? When you try to make an absolute reference to a cell, you place "$" in
front of the column and/or row.
But can you do it more easily by, for example, selecting a cell with
your mouse while pressing CTRL (obviously this does not work) when you
select a cell?
Thank you.

Links in email do not connect to URLApplication: Outlook Express 6.00
Symptom: Hyperlinks included in email's received will open
an IE window when clicked, but nothing else happens. The
URL does not come up in the address bar, IE does not pull
up the linked site, etc.

Any suggestions please? Thank you.
Try posting this in an Outlook Express group - this is not one of them.
This group supports Outlook from Microsoft Office - Outlook Express is a

Choosing subform fields from master formHello -
I have a master form with 4 subforms. 3 of the subforms have only checkboxes.
The boss wants to choose the checkboxes displayed in subforms. For example,
this week the boss wants users to view checkbox1, checkbox2, checkbox5, and
checkbox7 in a subform. The following week he wants users to see checkbox3,
checkbox4, checkbox6, and checkbox 8. I'd like the boss to have an
administrator console where he chooses what checkboxes will be available for
the users. How do I handle this with a multiuser split database?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Have you mail-enabled the Public Folder, right click over it in Exchange
System Manager > Public Folders and select All Tasks, and you will see the
option to Mail Enable.

Activities View & Regarding FieldIs it possible to see the Regarding name in the activities view?
I know it is possible to exit the activity view throught the view editor
e.g.
http://crm/tools/viewEditor/viewManager.aspx?id={00000000-0000-0000-00AA-000010001902}
for all activities
though this only allows addition of a few fields.
if I look in the SavedQueryBase, the view
{00000000-0000-0000-00AA-000010001902}
gives a FetchXml string with the activity fields.
the display text for the regarding field is available in the Activity view

Create Temp table from query, with memo fields?I am using Access XP and trying to export queries to Excel XP with
memo fields that are getting truncated to 255. These fields have some
functions in them to get them to look right, so the only way I can
think to get them exported to Excel properly is to create a temporary
table then export that table instead.
The problem is, some of the queries do not have data longer than 255
and some do. They also do not all have the same columns. So I cannot
create a standard table and export to that table. What I was trying to
do in my code (to make it work with multiple queries) is simply write

Why can't I see my Outlook Archive filesHello
XP home 2003

seperate instructions for deleted files. The prompt
appears every 14 days and I say yes. The auto archive

they all appear empty. The deleted file function works
fine. Does anyone have an opinon of whats going on?
Thanks.
144kb doesn't sound big enough to hold much data. Have you told Outlook to

!!URGENT - email keeps sendingHello,
We are running Exchange Server 2003 with XP Pro/Outlook 2003 clients.
A user replied to an email on Friday, to multiple recipients, and for some
strange reason his email keeps being sent over and over again!! He is
therefore receiving hundreds of undeliverable email messages because a lot
of the recipient's mailboxes are now full, do not exist, etc. People are
complaining big time and I do not understand what is happening.
When I open one of the undeliverable emails, it includes his original email
sent on Friday, but now the sent day/time is today, from the weekend as w...

Email and workflowHi
I have sucessfully got a workflow rule to send an email
when an Order is created. Howwever, there is no record of
this email in the Order.
When I modified the workflow to write a note, both of
these were added to the Order.
What do I need to do to get the email sent by this
workflow process to be added (presumably as an Activity)
to the Order?
Thanks

Add new field to gridI have added the Customer Ship to Address to the RM Customer Inquiry grid. I
need to create VBA code to populate this field. In a grid window, where do I
open the data base and at what point do I read the table to populate this
field.
Thank you
Amy
Hi Amy
Using the Window_AfterOpen event, you will need to use RetrieveGlobals to
obtain the login credentials, then ADO to open a connection to the SQL server.
You close the connection on the Window_AfterClose event.
Then on the Before_LinePopulate event on the Grid form, you perform the
actual SQL query.
I have an example you can have ...

Restricting certain users from sending/receiving external emailUsing Exchange 2003. Created an SMTP connector under Routing Groups, delivery
restrictions tab and added all users under the reject messages from. I then
went into their AD account and Exchange General - Delivery Restrictions and
had to add everyone users allowed in. There doesnt seem to be a way to add a
group? Have to manually add each user which is silly.
Also doesnt seem to be working? The user can send external emails?
You are wrong Monkey. You can create a mail enabled group and apply them to
the properties on the SMTP connector you created. This article should help
you.

Wrong Reply Address in a mixed 5.5 and 2003 Exchange EnvironmentWhen creating a new mail-enabled user in active directory and sending an SMTP
mail message to an external SMTP address, the senders reply address is wrong.
It looks like the X.400 connector address with an @something.com appended to
it instead of the first.last@something.com. The default policy and admin
group policy has the correct addressing in them and the correct address shows
in the users exchange email addresses tab. The mail currently flows from
2003 to 5.5 and then out to the internet. Obviously replying to this type of
address will not work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Workflow Rule for Allowing EmailI want to update all of our current accounts with a manual workflow rule
that will update the contact method on the administration tab in accounts to
reflect "Allow" for Email. When trying to setup this rule, I set the

change anything (I've also tried "donotbulkemail"). Any ideas how to make a
workflow rule that will update this field from "do not allow" to "allow".
