blocking images in HTML emails

In Outlook 2002, how do I view an HTML email without
downloading the images? I'd rather just see an "X" where
the images would be.

Outlook 2002 doesn't support that feature. Your only option is unplugging
the internet connection...

Blocking Outbound Mail for Selected Users
I want a certain group of users to have access to internally generated e-mail only. I've prevented their receipt of external e-mail by deleting their SMTP address using Exchange Administrator. stuck emails
First Day with Windows 7. Easier? Not sure yet. Don't understand why Outlook won't import the backup.pst I saved before upgrading the O/S. However ... On the subject of stuck emails I've just fallen foul of this problem, and discovered something. In the New Contact dialog box, the display name always has appended to it the email address (entered a few boxes up), in parentheses (...). If when composing my email I type the name and let Outlook find the email address, it is put in the To: line with the display name, and the email in roiund brackets. And it gets stuck. If I cut...

Questions:email access reports in SNP/PFD formats, reports to FAXe
I am working on an application which is to send ACCESS reports to suppliers (Monthly Supplier Performance Report cards). I am using the VBA code from the references which I was directed to, from this forum. I use the Stephan Labans code to convert the ACCESS report to a PDF format. I send a MS Outlook message with 2 attachments (a snapshot {snp} and PDF version of the report). Currently the code works if I close the open PDF version of the report before the code increments to the next supplier (next recordset record). If I do not manually close the displayed PDF file I get an err...

Emailing one sheet
I have a client with Excel 2003 and he wants to know if he can email only one worksheet from a spreadsheet instead of the entire spreadsheet. Only way I know to do it is lock down the others or copy the one to a blank spreadsheet and send it or create a macro to do that. Any other ideas because he didn't like any of those. HTML/Rich Text Messages: Always Re-Downloading Bodies--Why...?
Currently using Outlook 2007, but has been the case with previous versions as well. Once a text with pictures, formatted text, etc (HTML and rich-text) downloads I view it -- but the message re-downloads every time I click on it in my inbox. I've checked the settings, but can't locate anything that'll make the message download, and stay downloaded, until I delete. Outlook isn't all that fast to begin with, but having to redownload a message because I've clicked it's header slows things down even more. ...

Blank emails with no header?
Hi All, I'm randomly getting a few blank emails a day in my inbox with sizes of a couple hundred bytes. When I open them, I see nothing. If I save them to a file I get a zero length file (even though outlook shows the mail to be a few hundred bytes). Neither Norton nor NOD32 showed a virus (Outlook integration). The only header info is that the x-envelope is to me. There is no from, subject, or the usual info about the other mail servers mail goes through. Any ideas? Email Blast
How do you send an email blast to your customers. Is this a function that RMS can do? This is what we do, it my not be pretty, but it works OK: 1) we modified the Customer List report to contain an Email column. This is done by copying one of the other columns and changing the field to "Customer.EmailAddress" 2) Once the report is generated we "clean" it by getting rid of the columns that we don´t want like phone, fax, etc. leaving only customer name, emal, customer number and sometimes, last time visit the store. 3)we export this to Excel. 4) we create an HTM...

Setting email timeouts for Outlook
I'm having a real problem on one computer Win XP Pro / Outlook 2003 in sending and receiving email. It looks like an occasional timeout problem caused by someting external to this computer. I've set all the timeouts on this computer that appear to relate to receiving and sending email. I wonder if I've missed one or two. Which timeouts can be set that might affect slow email receiving in particular? Ditto for sending (which is less likely to fail here).
