Restricting access to note attachmentsHi all, is there a way to restrict access to attachments on notes to
specified users. I know we can, using the Security Roles, define who can and
can't read/ write the notes fields but we would like our users to be able to
view the note, but not open the attachment(s) unless they are the owner of
that note (or at least in the business unit, etc.).
I know this could be done for Word/ Excel files in Office (Password
protection) but are looking for something more encompassing for all
attachments inside CRM.
Thanks,

Outlook Web Access AutoSignatureI would like to know if it's possible to have
autosignature in Outlook Web Access, and if so how to
implement it. If anyone can help, it would be greatly
apreciated. Thank You.
It depends on the version of Exchange - Outlook Web Access is a function of
Exchange, not Outlook. Exchange 2003 does this natively, previous versions
may have a third party add-in that will allow users to do this.
For better information, post in an exchange group such as
microsoft.public.exchange.admin.

Vacation Request Approval OutlookIs it possible to have the results of a calendar invite sent to someone
other than the sender?
I would like to automate this process:
I send a vacation request via calendar invite in outlook to three of my

request but would like the response to go automatically to my manager thus
informing everyone on the invite list.
I'm guessing it could be done through vba but i'm a little rusty now. any
ideas???

Access 2003 and Access 2007 SynchronizationI'm setting up a new business relationship with a company in Portugal. They
use Access 2003. I have just bought MS Office Professional 2007 (with Access
2007). Our plan is that they will send, once a month or so, their Access db
then we will update and add to that db and then return it after another month
or so. There probably won't be a lot of updates on our end so the monthly
cycle should work. After they synchronize, they will send a new version of
the db and we will start over.
My goal is to keep everything as simple as possible partially because I

You mean a "Hyper link, not a "hot" link. Have you installed IE7?

Hi,
I have a single row in Excel with a lot of data, what I need to do is
move that to a column in Access. I need some way to automate that. I
know the easiest way to do that would to just transpose it in excel and
then import in access. But I cant do that as I just get that excel file
with one row and I need some way to automate the process in Access.

Help displaying a random record in a form--Access newbieHello,
I am new to Access, so if anyone can help me, please assume I know
absolutely nothing! I currently have a table with two columns, ID and
CHORE. In each row, the ID number corresponds to a chore that I have
entered. I would like to create a form with a button and a text field
such that when I press the button, a random chore is displayed in the
text field (supposed to make chores more "fun" for my son). There is
no need to remove this record from future clicks (the same record can
come up over and over without any problem for me) Can anyone explain

Outlook signature moves after sendingI have a user with Outlook 2002 with a signature which
moves up above the message text of the email after it is
sent. The signature is from an rtf file and this only
happens with plain text messages.
He'll type his message then insert the signature after
the text. After the email is sent, and you check the
Sent Items copy, the message text has been placed below
the signature. The email looks fine before it's sent. I
tried creating a new signature for him and it still does
it.

Thanks!
Yes - install OWA (Outlook Web Access) and open up the needed ports in your
firewall (80 for http; better to use SSL and port 443 instead).

Will CRM 3.0 support SFO under CitrixCRM 1.2 does not support SFO under Citrix. Will this change for 3.0?

Last I heard, it will, but only for online use. Of course, what happens between
now and RTM is to be determined.

To view any Publisher files you will need the same or later version of
Publisher.
There are no viewers for any version of Publisher files.
Get the person who sent you the Publisher file to make a PDF and send you
that.

Hi John,
We have added following Accessibility features in CRM 4.0 :
1) High Contrast Mode (Tools --> Options --> General Tab --> Enable high
contrast settings)
2) All the Form input elements have <LABEL FOR> to aid in screen readers.
3) All the Images have a ALT tag (for non text elements)
etc.

Outlook crash when open shared calendarHi,
We run Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 as client. Outlook will crash no
matter which desktop user A log into when open user B's shared calendar, but
user A is able to open other people's shared calendar fine. This problem can
be repeated on different desktops. On same desktop, some user can open user
B's shared calendar, but Outlook crash for others. It's very weird. It's
seems something to do with the user's account, but cannot figure out what's
the problem with the user account. So far only user B’s calendar will cause
