I need to compare 3 numbers and find the one in the middle
I have three numbers in a single row and would like to identify the middle
number enter that number in another cell.

is there a function in excel that can do this?

1. Select the range of data including the header. You need to have headers
for these columns
2. From menu Data>Filter>Advanced Filter>Copy to another location
3. In 'copy to' specify the target cell and check 'Unique records only'
4. Click OK will give you the unique list

values taken from a previous query. I've seen some suggestions in my
searching, but I haven't been able to get them working. They are also
all from before 2003 and refer to Access 97 and 2000.

the items we buy do not have UPC and/or barcode on them. Instead of us
creating Item Lookup code for each item, is it possible that the systems will

items in the data menu. My customer upgraded to Excel 2000 and now the macro to
be run cannot be found because "Module3." must be added to the macro call.

more. Where can I find (and change) the menu entry?

I am using TrackPopupMenu() to display a popup menu and allow a user to make
a selection. I would like to have an event occur (have a method called) each

I'm using Windows ME and I've switched from RichEdit 1.0 to 2.0 for my
CRichEditDoc/View application so that I can use the ITextDocument
interface and can do things such as suspend/resume the Redo buffer.
Problem is, now the Find/Replace dialogs don't seem to do anything. If
I revert back to RichEdit 1.0 they do!
What's going on?

I have just upgraded from outlook express to outlook 2000. The problem I'm having is that I cannot get by accounts to send and receive. I am able to connect to the internet via my dial up connection and surf the web, but the email send and receive will not work. An error message is displayed 'The server could not be found. 1. create new mail, edit and press send
2. the mail is now in the outtray until I press Send/Receive (if I press
Send/Receive the mail is sent)
the mail is display in italic in the outtray
3. I open the mail to edit it again
4. press Send: the mail is now still in the outtray but not displayed in
5. press Send/Receive : the mail is not sent!!!
