Uninstall MS Office 2010 Beta on Windows 7

I downloaded and installed the beta version of MS Office 2010 on my system
running Windows 7, 64 bit. It ran great. The newer features are much better
than what is currently available. One day I fired up the Word module and was
hit with the error message "program is corrupt, uninstall or re-install to
correct the problem". My problem is I can't do either. I keep getting the
corrupt message and the same corrective measures to take. Anyone have a fix
or suggestion - Thanks

Creating child windows in Store Operations Manager
Hello, I'm working on an extension to Store Operations Manager by modifying the Taskpad.htm file to include a new item. Using an ActiveX dll I can get forms to pop-up but they'll dissapear if I click on the Operations manager (if I have them set to have a fixed dialog style window border.) Is it possible to make these forms either a modal dialog or MDI child window of Store Operations Manager? It looks like I totally forgot to add a vbModal to my form.Show(). So now that that question's solved, I'd still like to know if I can retrieve a reference to the Operation Ma...

ms office professional 2003
Whenever I run a worksheet, no matter how small, I keep running out of virtual memory, and the file freezes up. I get a message that the programme is not responding, and have to log out. Anyone got any suggestions to cure this problem? Among other possibilities, either VM settings on your computer have been improperly modified or more likely you are running out of consective free space on your hard disk. When is the last time it was defragmented? How much free space is available? HTH |:>) "frustrated" wrote: > Whenever I run a worksheet, no matter how small, I keep run...

Purchasing Office:Mac
I'm a college student and I wanted to know if apple stores, such as the one in New York City on Fifth Av., sell Office:Mac. And if they do, would a college student like me be able to get a discount like on the website? I bought a macbook just recently and I was disappointed to find out that it doesn't come with Office:Mac previously installed. Is there an option to purchase the laptop with an additional fee for the laptop to come with Office:Mac pre-installed? Hi, Apple stores normally sell third party applications, and you can be quite sure that Microsoft Office is among them. As ...

Moved Office
I have an older computer that works quite well, but the hard disk had been divided into two segments - C and D. The C segment is full, and the D is nearly empty. Office takes a lot of space, so I moved it to D. Of course, now it will not open. I no longer have the disks or anything - it is office 2003, which I greatly prefer to office 2007, and it is on my computer, I paid for it and bought the disks 7 years ago (but lost them in a move since then). It is all possible to open it, or am I SOL? It is a legal, paid for copy from long ago. I am over 60 years old but fairly computer...

Office 98 10 digit CD key
Recently I had my G4 laptop crash. In the meantime I drug my old iMac out of the closet to do some work. I needed to upgrade the OS8.5 to run newer programs. In doing so it wiped out my CD-Key for Office 98 for Mac. It is requesting the 10 digit CD-Key when I try to start Word. Microsoft Replacement Software and their people who run new CD-Keys say I must have the original CD for them to help. (Obviously if I had the original software I wouldn't need their help). It's been so long since I used this computer I can't find the original disks. Is anyone aware of a generic 10 digit ...

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800420CD
After using Windows Live Mail Desktop in Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) for 3 months, to access mail from AT&T, my wife's computer developed the following error that results in a continous attempt to download messages, counting up into the thousands, after receiving the messages that were actually in her At&T Yahoo mail box (I checked via web to verify her settings and see what was in her web mailbox). After the 15 new e-mails were received by Windows Live Mail, it keeps on trying to receive thousands of messages, but none actually show up in her In box and this will...

Cannot uninstall MSIE to reinstall with Outlook Express upgrade
I need to upgrade to the newest version of OE but to do so I would have to uninstall MSIE as The installer senses that a newer version is already installed and will not let me proceed with installation. Help?! Hi - that's odd, as OE is part of IE. Have you run Windows Update recently? Also note - This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs. Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different program, despite its similar name.. You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an Outlook Express news group. Try po...

Complete uninstall
How do you do a 100% uninstall of Outlook, so that it can be reinstalled cleanly? My copy of Outlook has gotten corrupted (vague "unknown error" messages whenever I try to do nearly anything), and I haven't been able to fix it. I want to reinstall the program, so I I removed it using the Office Installer update feature, then rebooted and reinstalled, using the same feature. No luck--the reinstallation had the same problems. Next, I completely uninstalled Office, rebooted and reinstalled. Same result--I've still got the same problems in Outlook. Now, I realize the pro...

Windows Speech Recognition vs. Dragon

Windows comes w/Speech Recognition (SR) for free, but the good news Microsoft is a strong company w/strong products so NOT too bad at SR entry to mid-level when compared to Dragon.
