HOW TO: add a prepend subject in Exchange 2003
Dear All, I have made an query based distribution list in Exchange 2003 for so it will send an email to everyone at the office. How can I add a prepend subject that applies only to this query based dsitrubution list? For instance a prepend subject [Office Mail] so everyone knows that this is an office mail and they can set rules/filters. Does somehow know how to do this? Thx Dwayne I do not believe that this is possible through the interface. You could probably write an event sink for this functionality but that is not a trivial undertaking. There may also be a 3rd party product tha...

ANOVA procedures and t-test equal variance
In looking through Excel I see that it has both the ANOVA procedure and a t-test with equal variances and a t-test for unequal variances. One of the assumptions that is made in both the "standard t test" and ANOVA is that the variances are equal. Yet, Excel seems to have no test for homoscedasicity (oh what a cool word). How do you know these procedures are ok to use if you have not checked the assumption of equal variances? IE8 install issue with Comodo
I have just finished spending DAYS trying to solve a problem I was having re-installing Internet Explorer 8 on a computer I have at work. It turned out that the problem was that I had to completely UNINSTALL Comodo before I could get the re-install of IE8 to work. I'm just passing on the info here in case something similar happens to anyone else. First, the story, and then the bottom line. Here's what happened: I was trying to figure out why the computer was running slowly. The computer is a Dell Dimension 3000 with Windows XP Professional on it. It has a 2.79 GHz pr...

Installing addition module on workstation not server
I need to test Collections in Fabrikam company. I have installed the additional module, but cannot log into as says the database has not setup, but there are no tasks to run in utilities. I am running Dynamics 9.0. Previous versions, I was able to copy the sql folder from the server, which then allowed me to create tables from my workstation. We do not let any user access the server directly. Why not install the software on the workstation and select the server option? Extrapolation and Interpolation questions
Hi there, I am currently facing few problems with my report. The first thing is, how do I extrapolate a graph? I have a series of data from experiment which shows roughly a "mountain" like graph where there is ascending zone, peak zone, then descending zone. However, I didn't have enough value in the descending zone to plot a longer graph. How do I extrapolate? Second question, is how to find X value. Imagine the "mountain" shaped graph. At one Y axis, there should be 2 X axis value since there an ascending and descending zone in the graph. Is there any function to h...

Fonts question
Someone sends me a Publisher newsletter for our organization for me to proofread. When I try to open it, I can't because apparently she uses two fonts that I don't have, so Publisher substitutes Times New Roman (the fonts are Optane and Angostura), then it will open. She doesn't seem to know where they are in her newsletter (she said she just goes by the looks ? ? ). Is there any way she can find where they are so that she can substitute Times before she sends it to me? It said something about using TrueType fonts being better. How can one tell which fonts are TrueType?...

Hit testing
I'm trying to implement client area hit testing in a MDI application. In my document, I have a list of graphic objects (e.g. polygons) that are displayed in the view. The list can get pretty long, so the hit test algorithm needs to be fairly efficient. My first attempt at this was to add HitTest(CPoint) function to the graphic object class. In this function I created a Region and then tested it. Something like... int CPolygon::HitTest(CPoint Point) { CRgn Rgn; Rgn.CreatePolygonRgn(PointList.GetData(), PointList.GetSize(), WINDING); if (Rgn.PtInRegion(Point)) ...

Quick question #2
Hi, I would appreciate if someone could help me with the following problem. I have 8 cells containing numeric values.
