Transaction dates a day off after daylight savings time

I hope someone can help, I've searched online and cannot find anything.
Since the daylight savings time change, the transactions are downloaded as a
day earlier. For example, in my online banking the date says 4/2, but when it
downloads, it shows 4/1, in which I have to manually change so it can match
my acct. The dates are correct in my online banking acct. I'm using Money
2006 deluxe.

Please help!

This would normally be a function of your financial institution. The
scenario is this: the institution states or implies a time of 00:00
on a given day . The institution marks the download file timezone as
earlier than your timezone. Money calculates that midnight at the
FIs timezone corresponds to 23:00 the day before in your timezone.
It's a sad situation.

This can also happens when the institution is in the same timezone,
but leaves the time zone info indicating they are using standard
time even tho the time has changed to daylight saving time.

The best outcome would be for the FI to timestamp the times to a
time during working hours. Alternatively they could leave the
timezone info out of the file, and Money would assume that the times
are in your timezone. The OFX specifications address this issue, and
tells how the institution should avoid the problem.

It would be really nice if Microsoft Money would not change the date
on you. While this would be a literal divergence from the OFX
specifications, it seems unlikely to hurt anybody, and it would help
many. OK, I guess it might hurt people near the international date
line.

A workaround that *you* can implement is to change your timezone to
eastern or GMT before processing the OFX downloads. Then change it
back afterwards.

Paid Transaction Removal not removing some transactions
When running Paid Transaction Removal two transactions for an account were not removed to history while seemingly identical transactions in another account were. As I understand the rules of paid transaction removal, a transaction will be removed if it meets the following criteria. 1. If it's an invoice it must be fully paid. 2. If it's a payment, the document amount must be fully applied to one or more invoices. 3. The removal date must be after the document date. The documents are debit notes, are fully paid off (CURTRXAM = .00000) and the document dates precede the cut-off d...

Probably very easy question conerning auto-changing dates
I've got a list of dates in column B. Row 1 is labeled "date", Row 2 starts my date data (May-04). I want a list in column B of the preceding 23 months, so columb B ends with Jun-02. Obviously, I can manually input this information. What I can't figure out is how if I go and change the first date (say, to Jun-04) it will auto-change my list of dates accordingly (so my list would now end in Jul-02). NOTE: I know how to create a handle-fill, but it won't update any changes I make to the dates, nor can I get it to go backwards, chronologically. Thanks, Jacob jfarino@ameris...

Receivables transactions not aging individual transactions
Looking at smartlist, the Receivables transactions have a search/favourite added, including the aging periods. When you look at the search, it doesn't age the individual transactions, but instead ages the entire customers balance. I would expect it to show the aged balance per transation. Assessment: With how Smartlist is currently designed, the default smartlist object pulls from the Summary table for those aging period amounts. This is the reason why it does not show the aging for individual transactions. I know that the ability to see the aging of the individual accounts would b...

Date Formatting #8

Is there anyway I can force Excel to recognize my date entry as MMM-YY? Thanks, Michael First off, Feb-07 is not a date... a date contains a month, DAY and year. Rounding on Investment transactions
I've seen this problem for quite a while in Monday (at least 01, 02, 03, and 04). But when I'm entering my transactions, often times the final amount (shares*cost+comm) don't equal out, it's always the matter of 1 penny, but I'm a bit anal that way.
