Probably not since they aren't really spending. Just like moving money from
your left pocket to your right pocket isn't really spending. It didn't make
you poorer.

I guess this is my question. Say i am trying to save for insurance which i
pay every 6 months but i know i have to take X amount out each month for the
insurance that will be pain in 6 months. The X amount needs to be part of my
budget but i dont know how to get it to show on my spending tracker since i
am not actually spending it that month but yet i need to put that amount
aside. Any sugestions?

My suggestion--hard to do in Standard since it doesn't support Forecast Cash
Flow--is to use Forecast Cash Flow and Scheduled Bills to assure that your
balances will remain in the black in near term forecasts.

Since Microsoft removed Forecast Cash Flow from standard, this will be hard
to accomplish.

Can you add it to the budget? (I can't really remember what budgeting
features were in M06 Standard.)

formula question #3
I am using the following fomula =LOOKUP(c3,Lists!$aa2:$aa113,Lists!$ab2:ab113) the formulas works great, however in trying to copy the formula, it adds a number to the list values and looks like this. =LOOKUP(c3,Lists!$aa3:$aa114,Lists!$ab3:ab114) the list I am wanting to work with starts at aa1 and ends at aa113, so this will not work. I do not want to edit the formula in each cell, as I am wanting to fill acouple thousand cells. any suggestions? Hi, You need to add more dollars. create multiple scatterplot from 3 columns
Hi, Is it possible to create a scatterplot with multiple series (>2) from a dataset with 3 columns: group X Y A 1,9 9,6 B 9,9 3,6 A 8,3 8,4 B 7,7 5,8 B 6,9 0,8 C 6,8 7,3 C 8,2 8 D 6,8 4,5 D 3,1 5,3 E 3,3 5,9 The firts column defines the group (each group has a different symbol), the second and third define the X and Y coordinates. My dataset contains about 400 lines and has 15 groups, which is too much work to copy the XY from each group to different columns. I'm working in Excel 2003. many thanks, Maarten You cannot use this data to make a chart. You need to separate the X and Y...

Text boxes #3
How do I group text boxes? Karen M <Karen M@discussions.microsoft.com> was very recently heard to utter: > How do I group text boxes? Select two text boxes, Ctrl-Shift-G. To select multiple text boxes, you may need to follow this procedure: You will need to select the text box itself, not the text within. To do this, the easiest way is to go into the text so you get a flashing insertion point |, and then click the hatched border around the text box. The consistency of the border will change and the insertion point | will disappear. One text box is now selected. Now, hold Shi...

E-mail Preview Programs #3
I use two e-mail preview programs - they both are not 100% accurate although they used to be. I receive 100 messages per day. (I've been using PCs since the early '90s and was not careful at first 'cause I didn't know better.) Luckily, the preview programs make it easy to delete junk. The first program is MailWasher Pro. The second is not really a program but a web site: that of Adelphia, my ISP. My e-mail program is MS Outlook. Let's say a preview program indicates that I have 60 e-mail messages. I don't know threads very well, so I have these questions: 1. If a thread crashes, does the whole programme crash too, or do the other threads still work? 2. DAO 3.51 vs. DAO 3.6
Having trouble with a corruption in an Access 97 database, I followed some advice to convert it to Access 2002, repair and compact it and then convert it back to Access 97. All this worked fine and it seemed to help. However, it replaced the DAO 3.51 reference with DAO 3.6. This works fine on my PC. Two questions: 1. Is this supposed to work? I thought 3.6 was designed to work with Jet 4 which is not what Access 97 is. 2. If it is supposed to work, I may want to use it when I upgrade the client who uses this system. However, they don't have any Microsoft applications that would hav...

How to categorize non essential spending?
I'd like to set a budget on what I can spend for "want" vs. "need" items. For example, utilities, gasoline, phone are "need". A new camera, book, chair are "want".
