I have just installed Money 2004 over the top of my old
Money 2003. At the sign-in page, Money has decided that
my old passport password is not correct (I didn't change
it) and will not let me in. I have followed several
support tech suggestions such as change my password
(didn't work) and set up a new .Net Passport (didn't work
either). I am now at a loss on how to resolve this issue
without completely uninstalling the program and risking
loss of all my data. I still have my Money 2003 CD.
Could I try to re-install this over 2004? I do have a
hard disk back-up for ...can't see fonts
I can't view any fonts under 'Format' on the toolbar (it's gray and won't let
me select it). The only fonts I can view are under 'Font Themes.' I have
also purchased and installed a seperate Font package (Essential Office Font
Pack by Summitsoft)...they don't show up either. I have downloaded all of
the service packs...still nothing. I've also follwed all of the advice I can
find on related 'font' threads on this site...still nothing. Help!

I am attempting to upgrade to 1.2.
I have CRM server and SQL on the same server. 1.0 works
fine and I have all the upgrades in place as far as I can
tell. During 1.2 setup i get the error:
Setup was unable to install Microsoft CRM Server.
Setup was unable to add the account to SQLAccessGroup in
Active Directory. There is no such object on the server.
The SQLAccessGroup does in fact exist in AD and I am
installing using the administrator account.

What do you mean by "the invisibles button"? The button to hide/show the
nonprinting characters (tabs, spaces and so on)? If so, have a look
under "view" in the preferences menu . Are the non-printing characters
that you want to turn off checked? If so, uncheck them!

After upgraded from CRM 1.2 and everything went good. When i tried to log
the CRM 3.0 i recieved the following error:

I was thinking about possibly upgrading my current 1.6 GHz CPU on my Dell
Desktop with a faster 2.2 GHz CPU (which is compatible and available), but I

We are going to be performing an upgrade to 8.0 in the next month. Next week
we will be doing a test migration and have 3+ weeks scheduled for testing.
Does anyone have any documentation of things to consider or issues they had
with the upgrade. Anything would be helpful, as I am just trying to ensure
all the bases are covered.

I recorded a macro for the data entry group I work with that will save them
lots of time. The only step that doesn't work is the last one, which copies
data back from the clipboard into the current worksheet.
The goal was to split the first column into three, (it contains a number
with three nodes delimited by "-"), eliminate duplicate rows based on the
first column only, and renumber the shortened list.
Here's what I did:
Insert two columns to the right of column A.
Select column A.
Data - Text to Columns - Delimited by "-"

Well, it's been six months and I still haven't got it. What I have gotten
good at is moving SQL databases around and restoring from backup images.
I've gotten that down to under 25 minutes for both the system and CRM+CRM
website drives. Us newbies just beat our heads against the box until it
breaks, restore, read, read, read and try again.
