Restore
I'm trying to restore my latest money 95 backup, but the file extention on the file is MBF not mny. Does't seem to like that extention (mbf). That extention was automatically assign by Money 95 when I did the backup. Is there anything I can do to restore that file??? Thanks

During the restore, don't try to restore to the default location. That location may not exist on the new computer. Instead, Browse to My Documents.

My exchange 5.5 box ran out of space and in the process of freeing up my Support Technician moved log files that caused the priv.edb and pub.edb to become corrupt. We were unwilling to trust the Arcserver brick level back up from the night before so used the eseutil function. We 1st checked that the databases were corrupt. We are having problems keeping the customizations for the Lead forms only after restoring. We have customized the Lead form after data migration, backed up the database, exported the customizations to HTML, as a precaution, then when we restore the database only the Lead customizations do not appear (all other customizations on the Account an Contact forms appear), and when we try and import in the html customization file back in, it they still don't appear. I think it has something to do with a tomestone of 60 days on the System State, what can I do? I did think about changint the servers clock before restoring. My wireless adapter wsn't being recognized so I thoought I would do a system restore. it did not ask me to set a restore point. it seems to have gone back to the original date ( jan, 1 2005).
