POP3 Password Rejected
I access an Exchange 2003 server with OE6. Access and authentication
normally works with no problems.
Recently, I've been getting the following error message:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was
rejected. Account: 'pop3.myserver.com', Server: 'pop3.myserver.com',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR The requested name is valid, but
no data of the requested type was found.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

access. I would like to give someone a copy of the file that is not set to
prompt for password. How do I remove the protection. I don't want to give
out the password.
File>Save As>Tools>General Options.
Delete the password from here and save the workbook with a new name.

A variation on the usual Outlook won't remeber my password/username.
Had to reinstall Office XP.
Anyway got the usual situ. where Outlook 2002 wouldn't remeber
password so went into registry and the Protected Storage System
Provider. That's when the problem started as there weren't any
sub-files to delete. Tried exporting some then deleting but still no
joy. Before I have to take the drastic step of reformatting - and the
inevitable tears and heartaches that causes - any suggestions as I've
tried everything I can think of. Having to access my emails only
online is a pain.

On the help screen it say to go to Tools>General Options.
However, the Tools dropdown menu has no such category.
There is Options but not General Options. And the Options
one doesn't have password protection in it.

I have been a Quicken user for many years, but I have now been informed by
Intuit that after Jan 31st 2005 they will no longer support Quicken.
Therefore I have purchased MS Money 2005 Premium.
I am using an XP machine with Quicken XG and as I have said MS Money 2005.

I created a protection for an excel sheet. I used the option "Allow users
to edit ranges". I created several ranges and one of the ranges is a group
called Admins, they can do anything. I selected in the "protect sheet" all
the options. If an user with the Admin group select the whole sheet the
user can not use the option autofilter, it is grey. Is this correct when
you use a protected option that this this option is unavaiable? We are

I have a user that changed her logon password, and ever since then, has to
re-enter her username and password to get into outlook. At first i thought
it was a replication problem, but she can login against all three of our
domain controllers with no problems. It's just outlook that asks her to
windows 2003 server, sp1 on all servers

I have apprx 21 user prompts set up for Outlook 2007.
My questions are:
1) is there a limit of profiles, that can be set up?
2) if I use a PST password - can it be the same as the profile password?
3) I am correct in saying that when I get prompted for the profile to use -
it will prompt me for both the PST and Profile password?

I understand how to protect the whole sheet and allow certain cells to be
populated. two part question.
1) is there a way to allow the cursor to only spot or start with the
unlocked cells? Almost like a fillable PDF? I had an excel sheet where it
ignored the protected areas and only went to the unprotected user cells.
2) If the above cannot be done, how do you turn off that "this sheet is
protected" popup? My users will find out they can't change the sheet, but
don't want them to get as annoyed as I do when I accidently click the wrong
