Canadian Version of Money 2005 or 2006
Is it still true that only the basic version will be localized into Canadian version? None of the premium version or small business versions will be localized? Maybe it doesn't matter anymore? as long as you change your regional and local setting in windows' contol panel, Money will work in Canadian settings? AFAIK from the wrong side of The Pond. MS Money 7 and Money Plus Premium
I use these versions in an XP-SP2 environment. Some time ago Money 7 started giving an error which provided a 'dump' to be sent to MS. This error occurred after I had closed money and after the money daily backup had been taken. The Money screen had been wiped away. I purchased Money Plus , un-installed Money 7 , installed Plus and recently got the same error. Any Info on this? Is it possible to "downgrade" versions of money? I currently am running small business edition, but have decided I don't want to use it to run my company's finances just personal, therefore deluxe would be fine, plus it is cheaper. Is there a way to get all of the personal data into deluxe from SBE? Money 2004 Premium
Hi all - I installed Money 2004 onto my laptop which is with me everywhere I go. I installed it at my office where I was connected to our LAN. It runs fine. If I am disconnected from my LAN, Money will start, flash the first part of the login page and then shutdown - no messages, no errors. It just stops. The files are all local to the laptop - i.e. there is no network install here. I uninstalled and reinstalled Money while disconnected from the network. Installation seemed to run fine. Money skips my bills when matching
I have some reocurring bill set up. When I download my credit card statement, money 2005 S.B. completely ignores them. I accept the transaction, but it will still show that the bill is over due or upcoming on my home page. Is there any way to match these up? Right now I just "skip this occurance" but that gets old after a while and I shouldn't have to. Please help. Thanks. Working on a machine that has Money 2002 installed. Every time the machine boots it brings up the installation screen for MSMoney. I took money express out of the startup and that went away, however now when we try to run money it begins to install again, and prompts for CD. Sign-in Problems-Money 2004!
Greetings! I didn't have this problem in Money 2002 but since I have installed Money 2004, consistently I can not sign in using Passport. Almost seems random: sometimes I can sign in fine, in all accounts; other times, no account will accept the login info, though it is correct. Anybody have any fresh revelation on what is going on? Also, what is the real advantage to using sign-in with Passport? I seem to be able to connect to my various banks websites fine and download any account info. Money paycheck TXF export
I recently refreshed my money file by exporting everything to QIF and reimporting. Essentially, I rebuilt it almost from scratch. In the process, Money lost the information about my paychecks but imported them as split transactions. It preserved the categories but lost the pre-tax vs. post-tax nature of the deductions. At the time, I wasn't worried about them. I just bought TaxCut 2005 (to get the free-after-rebate 256MB USB drive) and exported a TXF from Money. Just when I was about to upgrade, I see that Microsoft will be getting rid of Money Plus? I only use my version to track my finances and run my checkbook thru it, I've never used it to connect online with my financial institutions or for bill payment, nor do I want to. What is the best way to handle payee names and their variations? For example, I charge all of my gasoline purchases and typically fill- up at Raceway gas stations.
