Login Failure

I use Microsoft Money 2000 and it has worked just fine
from the beginning. The last couple days though I receive
the following message as I try to log in.

"Money is unable to verify your Online Sign In. Money
will now log you in using Work Offline sign in." ETC.

Naturally this offline login prevents me from using
background banking and other features.

I am using the "Passport" identification I've always used
so ... what's the trick?

Checkbox Failures: MS Access .adp Connected to SQL
Hi all, I have an Access Form in an .adp connected to MS SQL Server 2000. When the field behind them is of the "bit" or "tinyint" datatypes, my checkboxes will not uncheck and also exhibit other bad behavior such as one checkbox affecting the data in another checkbox. When I convert all of the datatypes to smallints, the problem goes away and everything works perfectly. In MS SQL, the "bit" and "tinyint" datatypes are always unsigned. This issue appears to be related to Access attempting to store a -1 for true instead of 1. However, Access (even using...

offline folder sync failure
Running Exchange 5.5 in a domain environment with Outlook 2000 on the clients. Offline folder synchronization works when laptop client is connected directly to the network but fails when connected remotely. I've tested it on dial- up and dsl connections to no avail. The synchronization process begins and progresses, but acts like it times out, eventually ending up in Outlook 2000 Not Responding. Is there a setting on the server or client that I've missed? I welcome your suggestions. ...

MS Money freezes at login
Hi, I've been using MS Money for about 4 years now and I have been using MS Money 2007 for over a year now but suddenly it is freezing every time I try to logon. It takes up about 97-100% of cpu which forces me to close it using task manager. I don't know why it is suddenly acting like this. I have tried reinstalling it with no luck. I normally synchronize my money files with my pocket pc using sbf finance pocket version (since money no longer offers pocket pc synchronization). Recently my pocket pc crashed so I had to reinstall all of its programs and it seems like that is whe...

Login failes
Has anyone received an answer on how to get into money 2004 yet? I really would like to see what balance I have. Called help line, was told 2004 is no longer supported by MSN. I have been told many thing by the "technichians", none of which are correct. They don't seem to care and are opening themselves to bad PR and possible legal action. If you look at my posts in UK Money 2004 login fails you will see I can demonstrate that it is nothing wrong with our PC's (caching etc) It has to do with the Money web page updates on Dec 17th that locked us all out of our d...

SMTP Failures
Forgive me, I'm an exchange nub.... I've been running my exchange 2003 server for nearly a year w/o issue. I just recently changed ISPs and received a new IP address for my exchange server. I've requested my ISP put the appropriate (I think) rDNS records in place -- they ensure me that they have. I have the ability to receive mail from any source. I have the ability to send email within my domain. However, I cannot send mail to any other outside source. In other words, the tables are not created automatically. I then ran two scripts that create all the tables i need for the module. I then relaunched GP and loaded the chunk file, and it works with no problems. The problem is, this...

capture sql logins script
Hello everybody - For disaster recovery purposes we have a secondary gp server on standby. How can I set it up so that the 'caputure sql logins' script will run on my primary gp server and then save the results to the secondary backup gp server? What tool should I use and is there an automatic script I can use? You may approach this in few different ways - 1) Use PSTools to recreate users on the secondary server. This is a free tool and is part of the Professional Services Toools Library. 2) Export out users in a file and run this file using task scheduler and SQL command utility ...
