Does anybody know whether its possible to let a sentence or word flash
in Excel, just like in Word or not? If so, how can this be done?

We have a personnel roster that is kept in a database. Occasionally,
this roster is exported into Excel and sent out to members of the
department. In one column are dates that each person was employed. When
I try to sort the entire roster, it doesn't come up right because most
of the cells that contain the date have spaces in front of it.
Sometimes it's 1 or 2, sometime more, other times there are no spaces.
In order for me to sort the entire roster correctly, I'm having to
manually remove the spaces in front of the date, then sort the roster
according to date.

I am trying to run a .bat file from Excel. The Shell command works fine as long as there are no spaces in the path. So, for instance, running

I'm having problems with my old exchange server running
out of space. We are going to be upgrading to exchange
2003 in the next few weeks. In the mean time I'd like to

When trying to get text to line up like when creating a email signature or lists, I will use a the tab key.
In office 2008, when I press the tab key, the space between where the curser was to where it ends up is different between lines.
I wondered if anyone has a fix for this?

Sometimes Outlook 2007 capitalizes the beginning of a sentence and other
times it does not. Can I make it capitalize the beginning of all sentences?
I used to have that problem with Outlook 2000 also but at least it always
suggested capitalizing the sentence later and I could accept the suggestion.

Hi everybody. I have a report problem that I cannot figure out.
I have a subreport in the body section of my report that is causing
some big problems. The subreport is pulling investment information
and is attached to the account number of the main form. So every time
the account number changes the subreport shows the correct investment
information. Everything works fine as long as the account number
stays below 40 records or so. Once the subreport gets too large it
messes up all of the spacing as it tries to fit as many records as

When I'm typing in a normal word document using MS Word 2007 on Windows Vista
32 bit PC, if I have the shift key held down while pressing the space bar, no
space is typed.
It makes it so that in order to type "OF THE" I have to let go of the shift
key between the two words when I press the space bar and then reapply the
shift key to continue. If I forget or miss releasing the shift key I get
"OFTHE" Most annoying!

In a column, for 3400 rows, How do I get rid of an unwanted space preceding
the sentence and make sure the first letter of the sentence is capitalized.

I am needing to export a table that has a field size of 80 to a fixed width
text file with a field size of 55. When I do this, I lose the data an the end
of the field. Is there anyway to force Access to possible create a new row
