Is there a way to insert musical symbols? In particular, I am trying to use a treble clef symbol in my word doc. Anyone know how I can?
You need to find a Font that includes the characters you want to use. The
chances are that you already have one. Use the OS X Character Viewer which
you'll find more about in Mac Help. Set the View to 'All Characters', click
'By Category' & select Musical form the list. There may be only a few, but

I want to put this into a pivot table where the column labels are all
months (preferably grouped into years) and the Value fields show the
Total Price of all Items whose StartDate is less than or equal to that
month and whose EndDate is less than that month.

I have expressions in a field named LoanCriteria. Within that field I have
expressions such as..([LOANPROGRAM] <> 'CONSTRUCTION') AND ([PROPTYPE] NOT IN

The field is in a table with the following fields: GroupName, ConditionCode
and CheckList Descriptions and LoanCriteria (see code).

In an excel file, when I change the range of data used in a pivot table the
file size increases about 250K.
I selected the pivot table, from the data menu selectes pivot table and
pivot chart report. Moved back to step 2 of the wizard, typed the new range
(changed the row # only) selected the finish button.
The resulting file becomes about 250K larger than the original file.

I am using windows 2000 with exchange 2000 installed on it. All these days
it was working fine. Suddenly now when i tried creating a new user under
active directory & also enabled the option for creating a email box. It says
the user got created successfully but when i click the Email Address Tab
under user properties, i dont see any email address created for that user
under our domain.
Any suggestions on this is issue is highly appreciated.

You probably know that it is possible to use a "Multiple Consolidatio
Range" as source for a PT. I have not tried this across multipl
workbooks (AFAIK it is possible) but, for my purposes, I did not fin

Am trying to catalog merge a query created in access to create a church
directory. The snag I'm hitting has to do with keeping the records for a
particular family from being printed in the next listing(there's 2 families
per page). I had to use subforms in access in order to input the variable
number of children names and birthdays. In doing so, the member's name and
record number had to remain the same while the children's names and record

I have an issue where I am trying to return the contents of a hash
table from a function into my script. I am using two functions: The
main function which scans the ips and then calls the second function
which queries the registry and builds a hash table which then is
supposed to be used in the original function to generate a report.
When I run the QueryRegistry function, it returns the hash table as
normally expected. But when I run the ScanIPs function, the hashtable
is not returned properly. See examples below:

Hi, I'm using Word as my e-mail editor in Outlook 2003 and want to change
the default Style for e-mails from 'Normal' to 'Normal (Web)'.
The problem is that new e-mails and replies in HTML format use the 'Normal'
Microsoft Word 'Style', and this has no gap after paragraphs. The upshot of
this is that when sending an e-mail, I have to press return twice to create
a gap, but when the recipient views this, their software shows it as four
gaps (the extra carriage return I typed + their correctly viewed HTML
carriage return after each line).

Hi, I have a worksheet that has a large table that I filter by a certain
column. Is it possible to populate a table on a second worksheet that
is the filtered result of the first worksheet's table?
For instance, if I have a table listing types of cars and their color /
make / etc. I sort it to see only Red cars. Is it possible to have my
