Office X Mac Word
I just installed Office X for Mac. I started using Word and I wanted
to change the font. So I used the drop-down font menu and type in "t".
Usually in Windows it scrolls immediately to font styles starting with
"t". To my dismay, it doesn't do that. I have to manually scroll down
& down to go the font I want.
Does anyone know if there's any update that I have to install in order
to get this feature? ( i don't even know what to call it)?

Im Using Excel 2000 SP3, when i try to copy a cells from another workbook
and paste it on the shared workbook, the worksheet of the shared workbook
disappeared after saving it.

I cannot save a pdf file from any website to my laptop, a 32-bit HP
machine running Vista Home Premium. I've tried while using Acrobat
Reader and Foxit Viewer. On my XP desktop it is not a problem. Any
solution in Vista?

Absoolutely no difference between Vista & WInXP in this respect.
It's definitely nothing todo with Operating System, but rather depends on
what Adobe components you installed.
Make sure your laptop's Adobe software + print/etc. drivers are as complete,

I just installed exchange 2003 and it works great.
I had some contact folders (pst) on my exchange 5.5.
I exported from 5.5 and then imported into 2003.
Now whenever any user uses any contact name from the folder and try to send
an email, he gets a return email back with undeliverable message.
And another problem is whenever anyone uses this folder to get the email
address, exchange shows that retreiving from ENG. ENG is my old exchange
5.5 server name.
Any suggestion, please.

I have a user with Outlook at home and over the weekend he tried to
save a message in the Drafts folder and had the message "Outlook has
saved a copy of this message in your Drafts Folder" and the user
clicked Yes to save.

I work a lot with Hungarian translations at the moment. There are 2
characters that are not shown in office documents (neither 98 nor 2001). The
characters missing are the "o" and "u" with "Doppel-Akut". Their unicodes
are 337 and 369. The characters are shown without any problem on the PC.
We need to put the Hungarian translations into QuarkXpress. Even if I copy
the text out of a PDF the characters are already missing in the clipboard.

Is there a change between versions which means this line won't work any more?
That line is fine in E2007 provided you have 'SET' Master_Wksht but if you
hadn't done that it wouldn't have run in earlier versions of Excel

My IT department recently upgraded me to Office 2007. Much of it I
absolutely love. But it is taking some getting used to. Here is my issue.
I created many forms for my department at work in Word 2003 with form fields.
Now, when I open them I cannot access many of the functions on the "ribbon"
such as "Font", "Paragraph" etc. I have done quite a bit of searching
through forums online and not been able to solve the issue. I have found the
"Protect" tab and set it to unrestricted, but I'm at a loss at this point and

I've searched and search for solutions to this issues but there is now
despite lots of people reporting the same.
Issue: I get totally blank emails sent to the junk mail of my Hotmail
folders in Outlook 2007. The only thing (and I mean ONLY) is a date and time

new batch the next day.

You need Exchange Server for such functionalit...my word will not work as it does not have the right time zone???

I use search folders quite a bit but I have one question please. When I set
it up and tell it to search for a particular phrase in email it does not
include emails that may be in the Sent Items folder. Is there a way to get
it to include Sent Items also?

I modified a spreadsheet and accidently pressed Save instead of Save As. The
new data is now saved in my existing spreadsheet. Is there a way to recover
the original data?

1) you had the General Options set to 'Always create backup' and you have
not saved a second time.

We have a word add in that programatically inserts an auto text table then
adds rows to it. This works ok in Word 2002 but occasionally crashes in Word
2007 - this is not a consistent crash when we carry out the same operation it
happens in no specific sequence. The only place we are able to track it down
to is the auto text table inserting rows. Word itself is crashing.
We are using COM AddIn written in VB6.
Does anyone know of any key differences/issues between Word 2002 and Word
2007 that could cause such an error.

Running Outlook 2000 under Win2K as an Admin user connecting to an
Exchange server (corporate email). I have Outlook configured to
auto-sync my offline folders with the server every 90 minutes.
Unfortunately, Outlook never does this for me at the interval
specified. At the end of the week I'll check the properties and find
that the last sync date was last week. I've tried different intervals
with no luck
When I manually sync the folders, or set Outlook to sync at close, the
folders are synced.
