I just installed Office X for Mac. I started using Word and I wanted
to change the font. So I used the drop-down font menu and type in "t".
Usually in Windows it scrolls immediately to font styles starting with
"t". To my dismay, it doesn't do that. I have to manually scroll down
& down to go the font I want.
Does anyone know if there's any update that I have to install in order
to get this feature? ( i don't even know what to call it)?

I work a lot with Hungarian translations at the moment. There are 2
characters that are not shown in office documents (neither 98 nor 2001). The
characters missing are the "o" and "u" with "Doppel-Akut". Their unicodes
are 337 and 369. The characters are shown without any problem on the PC.
We need to put the Hungarian translations into QuarkXpress. Even if I copy
the text out of a PDF the characters are already missing in the clipboard.

trying to run a macro with the following line of code which creates an error:

Is there a change between versions which means this line won't work any more?
That line is fine in E2007 provided you have 'SET' Master_Wksht but if you
hadn't done that it wouldn't have run in earlier versions of Excel

My IT department recently upgraded me to Office 2007. Much of it I
absolutely love. But it is taking some getting used to. Here is my issue.
I created many forms for my department at work in Word 2003 with form fields.
Now, when I open them I cannot access many of the functions on the "ribbon"
such as "Font", "Paragraph" etc. I have done quite a bit of searching
through forums online and not been able to solve the issue. I have found the
"Protect" tab and set it to unrestricted, but I'm at a loss at this point and

If you want to guarantee other programs can open the files created by the
beta, save as the old doc format.

I've searched and search for solutions to this issues but there is now
despite lots of people reporting the same.
Issue: I get totally blank emails sent to the junk mail of my Hotmail
folders in Outlook 2007. The only thing (and I mean ONLY) is a date and time
(no from, no to, no subject, no body text). If I delete them I get a whole
new batch the next day.
There was one suggestion that was too complex for me to do. I does not

You need Exchange Server for such functionalit...my word will not work as it does not have the right time zone???

We have a word add in that programatically inserts an auto text table then
adds rows to it. This works ok in Word 2002 but occasionally crashes in Word
2007 - this is not a consistent crash when we carry out the same operation it
happens in no specific sequence. The only place we are able to track it down
to is the auto text table inserting rows. Word itself is crashing.
We are using COM AddIn written in VB6.
Does anyone know of any key differences/issues between Word 2002 and Word
2007 that could cause such an error.

I have formatted a column to make sure that all of the cells wrap, but then I
noticed that the wrap feature of a cell supercedes that of a column. I
highlighted all of the cells and changed the wrap feature but the only way I
can get this to work is to do each cell individually. What am I doing wrong?
Also set the rows to AutoHeight.

With the sync add-on in Outlook, the 'Track item' is default set on
when creating a new E-mail message. All other items, like appointments,
are all set off by default. A user has to take action and click on
every new appointment when he wants to sync it with CRM. Not handy and
a big chance to miss appointments. Does anybody knows how to set the
Track-button 'on' by default when creating a new appointment/task etc.?

PowerPoint 2007 with PPT file we built that goes along with a facilitation
system we sell. In the PPT file we’ve inserted WVM movies files using
relative paths. When she attempts to preview the movie the pop-up message
“Windows Media Player cannot fine the file” comes up. Typically this message
means the user has saved the PPT file in location that doesn’t match up with
