Printing too many copies

  • Follow

My floor has two networked printers. One of them prints fine. The other will:

When I print two copies of a Word doc, it'll print 2 sets of 2 = 4 copies.
When I print three copies of a Word doc, it'll print 3 sets of 3 = 9 copies.
Etc.

I forgot about this "feature" this morning, and printed 10 copies...

Is there a setting somewhere that I can't find that would do this?

Probably nothing in Word that will help. Best to look at the printer.

And since you mentioned your "floor" and "networked printers", I'm assuming
this is in a corporate environment? Have you talked to your IT department
about it?
