Word 2007 opens very slowly
When I try to open word 2007 by clicking on any document, it takes up to 2
minutes to load the program. If WORD 2007 is already open, then documents
that I click on open right away. This just started happening recently. I
have had WORD 2007 for several months without this problem.

I've created a simple spreadsheet in Excel 2007 which allows the user to
select from several work locations via a drop down. Based on the work
location selection, there are various work schedules they can select from.
This was done using the Indirect function within the data valadation section.
My question is how to clear a work schedule that was previously selected
once a new work location is selected. I'll try to give an example:
If California is selected they can choose 10 hour Shift or 12 Hour Shift
...UnLocked Cells No Color
I have a spread sheet which is passed around frequently. Therefore I have locked a number of cells to protect its information. However, its necesary that other change the color of the unlocked cells.
The problem is that once the sheet is protected the unlocked (and therefore changeable) do not have any color icon and so I cant change them. I cant figure out a way to have locked cells and still allow color changes on the unlocked without giving the password away (which of course defeats the purpose)

isn't attached. I believe this is because you are unable to fully embed the
footage like you can with say clip art, however, the person I am doing this

My excel 2000 has stopped displaying the sum of cells which I select with my

I was sent 2 documents that are set up using columns. I need to combine
these documents into one. If I select all on one and try to copy and paste
it into the other i lose the formatting. Is there a way to combine the
documents into 1 without losing the formatting?

When trying to scan, both Office tools, Document scanning and Documnet
imaging state "no compatible scanner found".
Word and Excel insert picture funtion works fine with above setup.
Note: (Have a double boot using Windows Multi media 2005 sp3 and offfice

Has anyone else had this problem with Publisher 2000? I have some text boxes within a newsletter that when I add a picture, the text does not go around the picture as I have chosen in the "format text box".....I can't figure out why. I'm looping through the paragraphs in a document (i.e. For Each myPara In
ActiveDocument.Paragraphs) and looking at the style, length of paragraph and
a number of other things. The trouble I'm having is when two paragraphs are
separated by a page break rather than a paragraph mark: then VBA recognises
it as only one paragraph.
Is this "expected" behaviour? I assume that it's a case of my understanding

need to focus on the 8th character which represents the color of the item and
make a selection as to the color.
I started looking at the "Like" function, but couldn't figure out how to

Question #1: When in the "Open File" dialog box of Publish 2002, the CTL and
SHIFT keys do not work to select multiple files. This works in Word 2002 and
Excel 2002 and also worked in Publish 2000. Is there a setting to allow this?

In OS 10.3.8 System Preferences>Printer and Fax there is only one A4
paper size - in Word 2004 there are two sizes: A4 and A4 small. The Word
2004 default seems to be set to A4 small.

I'm making a user form, and want to select a cell to place my equation, then
with that selection choice, offset upwards, and to the side, to select and
merge two sets of two cells, each.

highlight text you want to get rid of, then hit delete key. I did that but
all the header/footers throughout the document got deleted. How do I get to

Create the form as a template and then use File New and select that template
each time you want an empty form.
