How do I put corrections on the side of document ?

I was looking for a way to put corrections on the side of my document like an 
instructor does showing you a different way to write the sentence or whatever.

You could use "Track Changes" on the "Review" tab. Or even simple comments 
(also on the "Review" tab)

Assuming you have Word 2002 or above, which uses marginal "balloons."
