I'm needing to insert some references or endnotes in an excel report to
explain details of a financial statement. Is there a way to do this easily?
For example, if I have 8 footnotes and realize I need to add an additional
one in the beginning, is there a way that all of them will change so I don't
have to change 16 things?

I am creating an email newsletter from publisher. I tried to create a link to
jump to a section of the page. I got it to work through HTML Code Fragment,
but when I go to send it as an email it comes up as code, no link. I also
tried creating a hyper-link but it would only bookmark a page not a section.

calculates 3 days, I like it to calculate 5 day, which means including the

Typically, the system DOES include the Start and End date in the system.
In your example 4/1 - 4/5, that is three days: Thursday, Friday and Monday.

The EndNote plug-in depends on VBA--there is no VBA in Office
2008--therefore, EndNote will not work in Word 2008. Keep using Word

When I export a file (from Access or Excel) with a
decimal value (in this case Lat. and Lon. values) to a
text file, it truncates the decimals to two places. How
do I stop this? It works fine if I export as text values.
The decimal places are probably there, just not displayed. Select the cells
and either click on the icon on the toolbar to increase the decimal places
or change the formatting - Format | Cells... | Number tab | Number and
increase the Decimal places.

In Outlook 2007 I have a recurring appointment. I changed some of the past
appointments and edited subject. When I end recurrence and save, my past
appointments lose changes and edits. How can I end appointment with out
losing these changes and edits?
When you change the end date it regenerates the appointment. If you need to
end it and keep past activity, export to Excel and import (after deleting
all the other appointments from the excel sheet).

In a worksheet I need to move between certain location (cells); these cells
A8, A68, A128, A188, A248, A308, A368, A428, A488, A548, A608, A668
What I want is: If I put 1 in cell B1 and press ENTER the cursor move to
cell A8 (A8 will be the active cell), If I put 3 in cell B1 and press Enter
to go cell A128 and so on with other cells from 1 to 12.
Can any one help please.

I seem to have a recurring problem with CRM appointments in CRM 3.0.
Whenever I create an appointment that is an 'All Day' appointment the
end date which is shown as highlighted (in blue) in the 'End Time'
dropdown does not match the text of the field.
For example when I create an appointment with an End Time of 02/12/09
it highlights 03/12/09 in the dropdown value when the datepicker is
clicked, even though when I look at the database table the correct
date is being held (02/12/09)?

I have an excel worksheet in which the value of one cell is determined by
the values that are imputed into two other cells. I want a macro to run all
possible combinations of numbers in the two cells and give me the
combinations that result in the highest values in the third cell.
Does anyone know the best place online to find out how to do this or have
any general advice? I am looking, and most everything talks about the macro
recorder, which I do not believe is itself going to do what I want.

I am using Excel 2000, but this also occurs in Excel 97.
Take this extreme example:
I have data in cell A1. I scroll down to cell U1000 and enter data.
I now delete the data in cell U1000.
If I now press CTRL END, I would expect the cursor to return to cell A1 as
this is the extent of my current workspace. Instead, the cursor goes to cell
U1000, no matter where the cursor is currently placed.
If I delete, clear or any other type of deletion of row 1000 (including rows
on either side) pressing CTRL END will always go to the U1000 cell even
though there is nothing in it.

The line-ends have meaning to the model in your diagram, so the arrows
change to reflect different settings of the actual model objects. Ie: Visio
assumes you're building something real and following the rules, not just

Depends on what you want to change. For instance, changing something that
will reclac depreciation will just hit your prior year depreciation account
and depreciate the asset according to how it would have originally been
depreciated if you use the Life Method. Many other fields won't make any

hyperlinks to other documents. Is it possible to format the endnotes
as a table where column 1 is the endnotenumber, column 2 the endnote
