'Mouse does not work in Word 2003 with Windows 7'
I have Office 2003 Professional and all was working fine. I removed Vista
Business Premium and installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Now in Word 2003, the
mouse button to highlight text is not working. It works to select File,
Tools, etc, but not to highlight text. Actually when you first open word, the
mouse might work once or twice, even sometimes three times, to highlight
text. Then it stops working. You have to close word, and reopen it, and away
you go again. Then close and open and keep doing that etc. Other programmes
seem fine and no problem.
I have reinstalled Office and also repaired office, still not resolved.

Problem solved. The problem was caused by Lenovo Password manager. Anyone
else with similar problem go into Preferences in your Password Manager, and
remove the check against the HotKey button. Reboot and all appears OK (So
Far).
