wmp 11 with wxp home edition sp 3. I can rip music and when I go to burn 
audio cd
after starting to write the first song then it says finalizing.  
Problem--try cleaning the cd or try different make of cd.  I have cleaned and 
used 3 different makers of cd's and it does the same thing.

Download and install CDBurnerXP........it's excellent and freeware.

Using the same discs burn a compilation with this software. If it is 
successful then your WMP is at fault. If not, then it's your writer.
