Hi
I reinstalled sbs 2003 on dell server. Afterwards I asked windows to search
for a driver automatically and install. The tape appeared fine in device
manager as 'IBM Ultrium III Drive'. I then trying to be smart, went to dell
site and downloaded the IBM Ultrium LTO3 driver and having installed it the
problem began. The drive now appears as 'IBM ULTRIUM-TD3 SCSI Sequential
Device' with a yellow exclamation sign. No matter what I do this does not
get fixed. I tried uninstalling driver and rescanning for hardware, tried to
update driver with another etc but no luck. What is the problem and how can
I fix it?
Thanks
Regards

John,
Have you tried using the Driver Rollback function in the device Properties?
Or tried updating the driver using the driver update and selecting the
proper driver from the list of available drivers? Just a couple of
thoughts.
