Configuring IMAP on SBS2008

  • Follow

I would like to configure my server to allow a few users to connect via IMAP.
I have enabled the Exchange IMAP Service and actually able to get this
connection to work internally to my network, but connections fails when
attempting to connect externally. I am forwarding port 143/TCP on my
firewall, but problem continues.

Any sugestions?

Thanks in advance.

Did you open Port 143 on the SBS2008 Firewall?
