Blank Performance report

  • Follow

I mentioned about the problem earlier without solution unfortunately.

I can not see full Performance Report in sbs console.
When server starting I had information that a service could not be started.
I run once again configuration connect with internet.

Now information is gone but in application log appeared this:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: ServerStatusReports
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 22/12/2009
Time: 11:14:30 AM
User: N/A
Computer: Server
Description:
Server Status Report:
URL: http://localhost/monitoring/perf.aspx?reportMode=0
Error Message: General network error. Check your network
documentation.
Stack Trace: at usage.globalFn.connectDataSource(Boolean pingFirst)
at usage.frmPerf.renderReportWorker()
at usage.frmPerf.renderReport()

Reconfiguring Monitoring or reinstalling the function of monitoring did not
worked.

How I should solve this problem ??

Have you tried Completely?
"Reinstalling the Monitoring" from Control Panel?

To do this,
(Go to Control Panel add and remove)
find Small business Server (hit Uninstall)
It will then Launch the add remove part of SBS Components

Select Maintenance.
Select Monitoring (I think that's what it's called)
Select REMOVE
Then Remove the Monitoring. (I think you need to reboot at this time)
Then go back and do the same steps and do the Install.
Insert CD #3 of the SBS CD's and install Monitoring

Then your monitoring should be back.

Russ,

Yes I have done those steps, off course.
More of it I've deleted msde database from program files/micrsoft sql

After that the error has gone but my performance report is still blank.
Not totally blank, I have some information about errors, but I do not have
all of the informations.

Are you a Partner?
If so I'd post this to the partner newsgroups
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/partnerwinserversbs/threads

If not can you post up a Screen shot of what you can see?
Thanks
Russ

No, It was just the beginning.
Below in almost all points there are no information.
Only there where are errors I receive information.

In some positions, in Server specification for example id below information:

Non data are available for this section. Check if the Windows Management
Instrumentation service is running.

Off course WMI is running

But today is worst, now I do not have non of the web service under server.
The page could not be load HTTP 400

In IIS console the default web site is shut down.
I cant run it because of this error:
"Service IIS cannot run this web site. Port which is configured for this web
site can be used by other web site. Chose another port for this web site"

Changing the port do not work.

Well something is messed up in IIS
Re Run the CEICW Wizard
Leave the Router IP and Exchange section alone
and configure the web part
see if it fixes it

Looking at your other posts
(You didn't mention that you reinstalled internet services)

is everything else working?
My point is if you fix the rest, the Performance report should be fixed
also.

For that moment I uninstalled Intranet and monitoring.
Before that I deleted all databases and configuration regs
After that I finally can open server web site.

Then I installed again monitoring and run CEICW.

Monitoring is working but still with blank information instead of errors.

If the problem is with IIS where I should look after to solve it?

Ok on the 24th it wasn't working?

So all websites are working?
Default
And everything under it
OWA RWW OMA
Companyweb
SharepointAdmin

And all sites running and no Port 80 in use now?
(Sorry for the asking the same questions over and over, but before you said
it wasn't working.)

Russ

For that moment I did not installed Intranet component.

Default web site is working on the IP address of the server and dns name.

I do not have Intranet so OWA RWW OMA, companyweb, sharepoint administrator
do not working.

I made installation of the Intranet once again.

For that moment web sites which are working are:
default
RWW

Webs sites which do not working:

OWA
Companyweb
SharepointAdmin

I'm not using OMA

Port 80 is use for default and companyweb, 5726 for office admin and 8081
for sharepoint admin
