If you frequent this forum, you should start looking
here for community-based support for PowerShell:

All Microsoft.* groups on msnews.microsoft.com (although there are
others who threaten to issue rmgroups for non-microsoft servers).
MS no longer make or manufacture any NNTP servers, so rather then use a
non-MS product, they are closing these NNTP groups.

This group will disappear from msnews.microsoft.com, which itself will
disappear. For those external to MS servers that peer these newsgroups,
this group will continue to exist - although answers will be fewer! This
will demonstrate that you (even if 'you' are Microsoft) can't really
delete newsgroups from every server in the world.
You, the user, can move over to the MS forums for PowerShell Support -
but some of us old-timers are less likely to provide support there, or
at least as much support. Forums for me are too slow and too bloated to
be attractive although mileage varies.
I will shortly be issuing an RFD for a Big-8 PowerShell newsgroup, so we
can continue the discussion of PowerShell in News using BIG-*
newsgroups. You will need to find a news server, but there are some free
servers out there and some very cheap ones. And of course, you can use
Google to read/post.
