Hi all. I am having a little issue with not noticing at all when a new
message arrives.  Yes the taskbar flashes, and alert comes, but no
message window appears on the desktop to let me know.  I've searched
all over under Messenger -> Tools -> Options to see if there is an
option I can turn this feature back on. The reason is simple - when
the new message flashes in the task bar, I actually don't see it at
all as I am used to see a new message pop-up window in front of me.  I
usually don't look down to the task bar for notifications like this
and I have two monitors so it happens if I am on the secondary
monitor, I simply do not see the new messages.  Also if I step away
and comes back, I expect a message window to appear if a new message
has arrived, but since it is not there, I assume I do not have a new
message.  It happened to me multiple times that I simply don't answer
to people as I assume that I have not received a new message.

This feature might seem annoying to some, but for me it is helpful as
I can see the message right away and respond to them right away.  It
would be nice to have this as a feature to turn on/off under Tools ->
Options.  Windows live development team -> Is this possible to turn on/
off feature of this functionality in the next Messenger version (just
downloaded latest version - build 14.0.8089.726 and I am running
Windows 7).
