I have found and duplicated this on multiple new Windows 7 computers.
Windows Live Mail with a single IMAP email account. Biggest problem is that
the New Mail sound does not work. Yes I have the default sounds setup
correctly in control panel. (Also, if I configure a POP account, the sounds
work on POP3). This is crazy!
Is this a known problem? Is a fix planned? Lots of folks are going to be
using IMAP with Google accounts, and not being able to get a "ding" when you
have new email is a problem.
Thanks,

A "ding" with every new email would drive me bonkers, lol.
