Hello Gary,

I just read here that you have seen some info on the next WLM...?

Do you know if 'send all' has returned? Please let me know, I would
really love to be an early adopter or beta tester if it has :-)

WLM is very inefficient and time consuming for me to use without the
'send all'. I much prefer to control my send and receive functions
manually in WLM as I did in Outlook Express. This works very well for
me, I could retrieve what I want, when I want it, and I could send an
email whenever I'm ready to send it.

On WLM, when I'm ready to send out an email, the current 'sync' process
re-retrieves all of my IMAP folders in addition to sending the mail. My
IMAP folders are already current enough (I've probably retrieved them
already in that session), and the re-retrieval takes considerable time
on a high-speed connection. (I use only IMAP accounts and I have
several configured, each with many folders and many items in the
folders, some of them of significant size).

I have a similar problem with sending a newsgroup post. I've tried
sync'ing the single newsgroup the post is for, but it does not send the
post. The best I've been able to achieve is 'sync all newsgroups' to
get the post sent out. Similar to my email situation, I have several
news servers configured with many active groups in each. The wait for
re-retrieval of all newsgroups is quite long as well.

Thank you for any information you can give me. I believe I'm not alone
in asking for OE's "send all" function to return, I hope it will soon be
a reality, it is very helpful.

Thanks and regards,

Sorry, I can't reveal anything that isn't already publicly disclosed.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, though. Microsoft's main intent seems
to be to dumb down the interface so as to make it less intimidating
to newbies.

To add to Gary's input..
It is important to put it in perspective. The Wave 4 versions floating =
around on the torrent sites apparently are leaked builds(and=20
in some cases clearly noted by the reviewers as earlier builds)and lack =
any certainty of all possible final Wave 4 build/release=20
content. Only Msft has access to the real build content and features =
for Wave 4(next version).

So we can expect it to have the "Tape" instead of the "Ribbon" as the latter
has one syllable too many...
