I have several accounts in WLM. Today, I started getting mail sent to one account showing up in the wrong
account. Has anyone seen this problem, or is it my IT guy putzing around again?
Checking the properties of the mail, it looks like it's intended to go to the correct account.
I've also had a few mails not show up at all based on customer calls.

Did you look under Tools, Message Rules, to make sure there are no rules
redirecting your mail?
It might also help to add the Account column to the message list pane,
so you can confirm that WLM knows which account downloaded that message.
If the 'wrong' account shows up there, take a hard look at your antivirus.

The account column shows the account whose inbox has the mail.
Disabling my AV (ESET NOD32) doesn't solve the issue.

Are the intended and wrong accounts both with the same mail service? If
the multiple accounts are aliases for the same server POP3 account (They
have the same settings at Tools (ALT+T), Accounts, Mail, Properties,
Servers for both Incoming POP3 server AND Incoming E-mail Username),
then any one of the accounts might download messages for any of the
addresses.
If that's not the case, then another possibility is that on the mail
servers you are forwarding messages between accounts.

Windows Live Mail is putting the messages in the folder associated with the
account that downloaded the messages. If that is 'wrong' for you, then
some type of redirection is happening at the server level.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the account that downloaded the messages"
I have 3 separate accounts at the moment, ignoring the nntp ones.
One is my office account, one is a remote web based office account and one is a connection
to my home account via pop3. Until now, when I pressed F5 from anywhere, each
account got its own incoming mail.
I also thought that it was some redirection on the server level but my IT guy says
no.

No. One is our office Exchange server, one is a remote business account using Pop3
to get to a web mail server and one is a Pop3 connection to my home email.

No forwarding. I'm starting to suspect that the Exchange server is getting confused.
It wouldn't be the first time.

That is why I asked you to set up the Account column in your message list pane.
It will tell you which account in your Windows Live Mail downloaded that message.
Sometimes the Account entry is missing, which is a symptom of a different problem.
You may want to examine the complete headers of one of those misdirected messages
since that can give a clue as to whether redirection at the server level took place.
Press Ctrl+F3 while viewing the message.

Everything in the headers looks fine. The addressing looks correct. I expect that it's
something with the Exchange server. Thanks for your assistance.

You're very welcome.
In the meantime, you can set up a message rule that redirects those wayward
messages based on the 'To' or 'Cc' address.
