My XP machine died the death on Friday. On Saturday I acquired a Windows 7
laptop and on Sunday I had Windows Live Mail working as well as old emails
imported from DBX files. BUT...
My address book is in a DBX file, I have no OE and no PC on which to install
it. How do I get my addess book on to Window Live Mail?

The OE address book is 'windows username'.wab. It is not a dbx file.
If you can't find the wab file, WLMail will have Add Contact by each email
address in your imported emails that is not in the WLMail Contacts.
Even with a wab file, groups will not be imported.

Contacts/File/Import/Address book imports OE Groups and converts to =
Categories.
If one has an OE address book group called Favorites, it might create a =
duplicate.
Import/Export using a *.csv in WLM will not retain groups or categories =
in either direction.
