Who Should I Contact with any Questions?
Send any questions about the process, recommended forums and timing to
NNTP@microsoft.com
Maybe they can answer?

All of them work with my Chrome install. There was an update to Chrome
today. Perhaps that will fix it.

I just updated Chrome to 5.0.375.70 and still no go.
I also right click the link, copy address and pasted it into a new
browser window to no avail:
Same things with Firefox and I am NOT trying IE!
Oh well.
I think I will blame the Windows updates for this phenomenon.

I did the Windows Updates last night so I doubt it's that. Perhaps you
should run your virus scanner and malware scanners. The URLs work in
Seamonkey, IE, Firefox and Chrome for me. They are not malware sites.

News Groups List
No List, no Microsoft Groups, all close!
But Microsoft NNTP Server will be up and running with no Groups!
And Who lool Microsoft at UseNet!

That is to say that Port 119 is Microsoft Port ... Not the UserNet port
like the one @ News:hot-text.ath.cx:119

What the hell are you talking about???? Port 119 is not a physical hole
on a microsoft server that everyone must pass through to get to a Usenet
server! Ports are ethereal, it's not like if Microsoft invented a
portable hole and now owns it! You gotta be smoking something to come
out with all those dillies that you come out with!

What the hell are you going on about? If port 80 is such a big hole why
don't you close it on your computer and see what happens! You barely
know how any of this works so stop trying to tell us how it works!

Yup. A lot of us who subscribe to the MS news server got that, too.

John John you need to be more like PA Bear [MS MVP] who 99.8% right at
times!
Know one Close Port 80 on a Computer for you Fire Wall will keep it open for
you!
Just to update you Fire Walls
No Port 80 no Internet!
How did you came a [MS MVP] John John from a Cracker Jack Box?
For good Info will get I a good Thank You
But name calling will get you HELL ...
So I see that you do not act like a [MS MVP] and being 1/2% right will get
you know where!
So one more time I say unto you that Microsoft Communities is not Closing it
Server. Just the NewsGroups there in
For they will give up ROOT
If they do give up the ROOT some can make it in the Microsoft Communities in
XXX
"O" yes 3 XXX NewsGroups
I would love to put up the ROOT and you will Pay me to Post up on it!
Make my a BILL G$$$$$$
So a Port 119 is a Close ROOT on 119 << and you John John is not the [MS
MVP] for NNTP!

I too experienced that phenomenon today! (I hadn't come online
yesterday.) Just to see whether they've really been around awhile (as
Bear intimated), I subscribed to "pos" & "forecaster", & indeed they
seem new-enough to only have at most a dozen posts -- the first being a
welcome from that Ms.NNTP (who posted here a while back) stating what to
use the NG for, such as...!...
"User (sic) this newsgroup for questions and answers on Forecaster."
But she didn't give her own forecast!

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,

Are you really that thick?
If there are no news groups, why would anyone bother ?
What would the server exist for if it did not have any content?
The "Microsoft Communities" has SFA to do with Usenet news groups.
