The page is there but the download links do not work, 'file not
found'.
The SP5 merge modules also appear to be gone.
Either MS are moving things around again (as they do quite frequently)
and they'll re-appear, or they removed them.

IMO, you should avoid VSI. It's extremely inflexible and can cause many
problems.
You may want to check out http://hashvb.earlsoft.co.uk/Setups
Even if you want to stick to MSI, there are hugely better alternatives.

I actually got a download named setup.exe,
which was really a dead-link webpage when I
opened it in Notepad.
I wouldn't be surprised if MS is starting to
systematically remove all VB/VS6 files. They
like to do that sort of thing. Many of their
docs have been "updated" with dishonest
specs in the last couple of years in such a way
as to erase "unsupported" products from history.
If one believes the official MSDN pages, there
were never more than a handful of API functions
that worked in Win9x, in Win2000 pre-SP4,
or in XP pre-SP2. :) It must be confusing
for new people: The "QuickInfo" portion
of MSDN pages can no longer be trusted to be
relevant.

Me too. The link appears to work at first, then you get an error.
