I need to set up web-based access to ReportServer and ReportManager over 
https/SSL.

Given that SSRS 2008 sidesteps IIS by using httpsys to serve up pages, how 
do you generate a cert request? I need to generate a request to send to 
VeriSign and in IIS this was simple as there is a wizard to both generate the 
request and process the cert that VeriSign sends back, but I don't see how to 
do this without IIS.

Is the solution just to set up a temporary site in IIS with the same 
settings that will be used for SSRS 2008, go through the same process as 
usual, and then delete the site from IIS once the cert has been processed?
