What does the Windows event log say? Did you change the SQL Server service
account, or have you changed your login password? Those are a couple of the
usual suspects.

Where do I find that event log ?

When I was downloading SQL Express it had me set up a username and
password, but then when it was installed that same username and
password never seemed to work. Do you know where it can be changed ?
