I've a problem with publishing changes using Deployment Manager. This
morning I am having a problem with chosing an IIS web serwer on crm. I go
Object publisher in Deployment Manager->All tasks-> Publish, select the
catagories and hit next. The next window does not have my server or any
server listed, so I hit browse(which I believe is what I have had to do in
the past). A new window appears that states: searching for CRM Server
(Name). That window locks up the program and the only way to cancel it is

I have an interesting issue where Word 2008 for the Mac won't display
any graphics (jpgs) when I import them into a Word document. It just
inserts a box where the graphic is. When I go to Print Preview, the
graphics actually display, and they print fine, but I can't see them
when composing the document, which is annoying. Has anyone run into

I have Publisher 2002 which I had been using on my old xp machine along with
the developer edition of Office XP. The Office XP installed with no problem.
Publisher axxepts my key code but then cannot find a qualifying product.

You don't, you copy it and paste it.
The pasted chart will still be linked to the old data source, so if you want
to plot different data in the copied chart, you need to do it a bit
differently. Copy the chart and its source data, the whole worksheet, then
paste the new data onto the copied worksheet.

I wrote awhile ago, but it appears that my question did not make it through
for some reason, so I'll restate it: I've used Publisher for many, many
years, so this is not a matter of being new to it. I am using (as I have
hundreds of times before) the catalog template so I can print four 8 1/2 x 5"
pages on one 8 1/2 x 11" landscape paper. The booklet has a large number of
pages, but it IS divisible by 4. If I delete one page, I delete 3 more to
keep the 4 evenly divisible. Yet when I, for instance, cut out a textbox and

I have to update data on a powerpoint slide from an excel sheet. I got all
of my links in my powerpoint and everything was working well. However once I
shut powerpoint down and then restarted, the powerpoint started updating and
then I got a screen of jumbbled mess of hundreds of what appears to be links
though not on in the right place and many just repeats over and over.
My job requires me to put text and numbers all over a map and I am trying to
automate it so I don't have to fill out an excel page then a powerpoint page.

I am publishing named ranges as single file web pages, and the process works
great, except for the fact that the process seems to add about a 1cm of
white space before the table!

I have Microsoft Publisher 2003 and am trying to complete a catalog merge. I
have completed the work and the print preview looks great, but when I print
the photos, black squares are printed. Has anyone else had this problem?
I've inserted clip art and the colors will print without a problem. I've also
reduced the photos to less than 20kb but still can't seem to fix it. Thanks

Are the images .tiff's? See if saving in a different format in your editing program
makes a difference.

Our church secretary and I have tried this with the same results. After we
get the image properly positioned and cropped, we click on the Save button
but the document isn't saved and the image disappears. The outline of the
image remains but we are unable to get the image to reappear. We're using

I have some old Publisher 95 documents which have True Fonts "Seabird Heavy

I am pretty certain that those fonts did not come with Pub...How do I convert an existing Publisher file to Word or Powerpoint?
You need to copy and paste from Publisher into Word/Powerpoint.

Copy/paste is the easiest way. You could open the Office Clipboard from edit if
you have more than one page to copy. You could minimize the Publisher document
and drag the pages to the other Publisher document.

I have been using Publisher 2000 to build a web site. Each page of this
Publisher document (web site) contains a long text block and many words in
the text block are inserted hyperlinks each of which calls up an image
residing on another web site. The Publisher web site gets updated regularly
which often results in the following problem. On one or more pages that were
UNTOUCHED by the update all the hyperlinks beyond a certain point in the
text block no longer work. I check the URLs and they're all correct . When
