Convert Publisher to Expression Web

  • Follow

Dear Tech support,

I am using Publisher 2003 and was wondering if I publish my website from
Publisher - Pub file to html will it be able to be imported and open
properly into Expression Web 3.0. Will everything work properly and not be
duplicated.

Any help and feedback would be appreciated

It's not going to be a clean switch. I would suggest allowing yourself
plenty of time.

Publisher html code is proprietary and you aren't going to be happy with it
in EW. Plan on starting over...

The code is very different and you would be advised to start over.

You can open it, and technically you can edit it...however it will take you
years to figure it out...just start over.

Dear Rob,

If I take the site and put it into a program called html editor and then
save it to html and then import it into EW; will this work?
