Project Queue
My users have today reported that they cannot access \pwa, they get
the really helpful message
"An unexpected error has occurred."
Ive looked in the event viewer and see the 2 following events that
keep appearing,(note that queue service is running and has not
stopped)
Cannot start queue. SSP: 0d5a81f7-545d-48c2-836b-17734ff769fc
SiteUID: fc6a5a81-933f-4f77-9448-adf152c774d2 Url: Queue: ProjectQ -
Event 7626
Cannot start queue. SSP: 0d5a81f7-545d-48c2-836b-17734ff769fc
SiteUID: fc6a5a81-933f-4f77-9448-adf152c774d2 Url: Queue: TimesheetQ
- Event 7626
any ideas how to resolve?

This error sounds security related. Am I correct in assuming this used to
work fine until recently? If so I'd first be narrowing down the time the
issue commenced and then asking around the office to see if something had
been changed in your environment around this time. E.g Group policy, server
updates, AD changes etc.
Make sure the 'Microsoft Office Project Server Queue Service' service is
running under an account that has sufficient permissions, generally the SSP
account. My way of dealing with security permissions is give it God access
when diagnosing to prove the issue is security related, the de-scope from
there.

Piet Remen
