I have a project that I work on every week and change the locations but
re-use the same schedule, my problem is once I change the dates to the next
week it does not remove the original week, therefore the time scale goes to
the right and not to the left which is the current new date, I have tried
everything including unchecking the "fit timescale to end of page" box, works
a little but not enough, does anyone know how to start the graph on the left
side and remove the previos dates, I have tried changing the constraint date
and nothing works, I can send a project be email if you like, email me at

Hi Eric,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I would just copy the file, open it up and change the Project start =
date. This will keep every project in a file of its own. You could do =
better by creating a template and starting with that each time. Please =
see FAQ Item: 8. New Project Template. FAQs, companion products and =
other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: =
http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :-)
