How to reflect resource on vacation

  • Follow

Hi,

I use MS Project 2007. I wish to know the best way to represent when a
resource will be on vacation for a particular day(s) in my schedule. Can
anyone throw some light on this please? If you give an example that would be
great. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Edit the Resource's calendar and set the vacation days to non-working.
Tools, Change Working time.

Hi Aravind

Adding on to Rod's suggestion. If you want to identify the non working day
as a vacation. In 'Exceptions' tab of 'Change working time' window for that
non working day you may write that it is for the vacation.

I hope it helps.
