Has anyone seen anyone offering any type of standalone kiosk where a customer 
can scan an item to get a price check?
We would need it to work with our RMS database of course.
I thought about creating an access program to do so, but if there is a ready 
made solution that might be a better option.

We don't have anything commercially available, but we have dome some 
kiosk work before for various clients.  If you are interested, please 
drop me an email and we can discuss what it would take to make happen.

I wrote one in asp, much better than access as you can have multiple kiosks.
