How to direct email to a specific folder

  • Follow

I want to direct mail that comes in under a certain address to a specific
folder. I know that I should use "Rules," but I don't really understand how
to fill out the Wizard questions. Can someone be VERY specific as to how to
create this rule. The mail comes to chaucersmom and should go to the folder
Chaucers Inbox

Email on two other accounts seems to be automatically directed to the proper
folders somehow because I see no rules listed. On the other accounts --
first they go to the "Unread" mail folder and when I read them they go to the
proper folder.

The unread mail folder is a virtual folder, it merely a filtered view of
unread mail in your inbox.

Select a mail you wish to apply the rule to, rt click, follow the various
options, finally Select Folder
