Auto Correct or Edit Replace
I am a frustrated new user of Outlook 2007. In my Outlook 2003, I was able to
set up either Auto Correct or Replace, so that when I typed a certain word,
Outlook would insert what I wanted to have replace that word. In 2003, the
replacement text was about 6 lines long, which included my name, address,
etc., etc, and the feature worked very well.
In Outlook 2007, I can find my way to Auto Correct and also Replace, but I
am unable to use more than one line of Auto Correct or Replacement text. When

Outlook 2007 Install gone wrong
We recently switched e-mail hosts and I successfully (mostly) switched over my company's accounts from a POP server to our new IMAP server.
But I'm trying to set up one more account and am running into issues. I put in all the same settings as for our other accounts, but it won't allow me to create or copy any sub-folders into the InBox folder for this account (it tells me it cannot and this is "probably due to a limitation of your imap server")...but I can do so for the other accounts on the same server.
Also, when I try to view the Imap Folders, it says "The connection to the server i

I need to move E-mail messages from Outlook Express 6 on a Win XP computer

the procedure required opening OE on the target computer, and Outlook Express

If possible I'd like to keep the same mail folders as I will use the same

Moving .pst MS Outlook files from local PC to home NAS server
I just installed a HP Mediasmart NAS home server at my home. Our storage
needs are just getting to vast for each PC to store all our digital assets.
Anyhow, I noticed that on my personal PC one of the largest files I have is
my Microsoft Outlook 2007 .pst files. It's where MS Outlook stores all my
archived emails.
I'd like to learn how to MOVE this file to my HOME SERVER and POINT MS
Outlook to archive all my .pst files at this location thus freeing up my
local PC from these HUGE files.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Outlook 2007 prompts for Microsoft Exchange password each time it

The new exchange accounts work fine but Outlook is now asking me for the

Is there a fix that allows Outlook to remember the passwords and eliminate

configuring / comparing Outlook with OE
Hello,
Hopefully I can find some help here. I’m currently in utter disbelief with
this situation.
I just installed Outlook 2007, and I can’t believe what a hassle it is.
I have been running Outlook Express for the last 12 years. I now have five
email accounts, three that are for my business, one for bill pay purposes,
and another personal. I thought by now, since 1998 when I first started using
Outlook Express, that Microsoft would have developed into Outlook the basics
of a good functional email program, something that was a “step-up” from
Outlook Express, and so I de

W7 - Outlook 2003 Installation Issue
Moved from XP Pro to W7 Pro. Installed Office 2003 w/ Outlook. After
installation I show 2 new files (Calendar & Tasks) in addition to my Personal
Folders file and a second file for an IMAP e-mail account. They are on the
top folder level. When I go to delete them I get an Object Not Found
message. They don't appear in my profile or in the list of files for the
profile. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office and now I have 4 files
(2 Calendar, 2 Tasks). The good news is that other than the "phantom" file
everything else is working normally. How do I get rid of them?

Outlook 2007 says 'no email program associated'
I have just updated from Windows 7 RC to released version; trying to install

"There is no email program associated to perform the requested action.
Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an

I thought Outlook was the email program?? It will not allow me to set up an

Outlook 07' - Is there a way get past our Proxy Server
Help! We are running Windows XP SP3. We are in the process of moving from
Office 2003 to 2007 (2010 is not an option - don't ask!). I can't seem to
find a way to send Outlook 2007 e-mail through our company's proxy servers.
Unfortunately, we are wedded to Lotus Notes 7.0.1 which is also a sore spot.
With Outlook 2003 there was a download that allowed us to sync with Lotus
Notes and send our e-mails. Much to my dismay I understand that this usefull
little add-on is no longer available. Is there any other way to make it past

Outlook Connector config problem
I could not locate a suitable thread for this issue hence starting a new one.
I installed OlC 12.0.6423.1000 earlier last month.
It downloaded all the mails from my Hotmail Live Inbox at that time and also
downloaded mails from other Hotmail folders.
My hard drive crashed and I resurfaced with all necessary software including
OlC.
Now I see that the mails that were downloaded in folders other than inbox
are no longer downloaded. Only later mails from the date of reinstall are
seen downloaded.
How can I download the previous mails from all folders? Please suggest
possible tips.

help with outlook 2007
I have been trying like crazy to set up microsoft outlook 2007 to work with
any of my emails but every time I configure it I get the same error message.
The set of folders can not be opened. The file
C:\documents&settings\Michele Gauvin\Local Settings\Application
Data\microsoft\outlook\michele20.ost can not be found. I have tried removing
the file as suggested in a couple of threads as well as uninstalling and
reinstalling outlook all to no avail. How do I fix this?

Set the number of line characters in Outlook (Plain Text)?
I need to set the line characters in Outlook so they don't look awkward when
emails I send are received. I assume 68 characters may be a good length, but
I have been unable to locate where to make adjustments.
