Problem with Office 2003 in WIN 7 Pro 64 bit

  • Follow

I have a new computer with Win 7 Professional, 64 bit. We did not buy a new
version of Office, so I re-installed my old copy of Office 2003. I have two
problems, one minor and one major. For the first, I'm asked to accept the
license agreement each time I start the program or send/receive messages.
For the second, I am unable to import my old PST file into the new PC. I can
import a single folder using a tab-separated file, but attempting to import a
PST (to get my many nested job folders) results in an immediate error: < The
operation failed. An object could not be found. >

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Instead of importing, try simply File > Open and browse to your data file.
