Office 2007 removal and reinstall

  • Follow

We have removed a pirated version of Office Enterprise 2007 with the "not
genuine" message, but new versions also come up with this message.

We add/removed in the control panel, but are there some legacy settings that
remain behind...the version we are trying to install is Office 2007 Small
Business Upgrade.

Once the new version is installed, it also is not genuine and continues on
the same countdown as the Enterprise edition we just removed.

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Dan

Presumably your upgrade found a qualifying version?

Yes, we do have a CD with qualifying product on it. It is no longer
installed but we've kept the install CDs.
