Word keeps failing

Word 2007 keeps crashing when I start it in safe mode or not. I tried a
repair and that did not help. I did an un-install but that failed because
files were missing. I ran the setup program to do a repair but it stated
installing. Word still wouldn't start after that. So, I did an uninstall that
got as far as asking me to reboot. Just after I clicked to do that I caught a
quick glance of a pop-up saying that the un-install had failed but it was
gone before I could see any of the details. After the reboot, I ran the
installation again. Taht gave no errors but when I started Word it crashed as
before. During all this, Outlook and Excel continued functioning normally.

This is Office Professional Plus 2007 running on a Windows 7 OS.

How do I get Word working again?

If I don't reply immediately it is because the notification for replies does
not work for my account.

When you bought the Office 2007 Professional Plus through the HUP program you were
given a phone number to call for free support on that VL version. Call the Free
support line that you were given

If the above is not the case then you are up the proverbial creek as they say

I better get a paddle. This is an open license copy for our company.

Then get the Company IT person to give you a hand with the issue.

Hey Mr Pimp,

Does your sister give hand relief as well? Quite handy if she does!

Can you get the original install files from your company IT person? Most
likely they're on one of your servers.
