Inventory transfer costs
We are new to GP, and are entering inventory Trasfers to our other location
for the first time, and the item costs are not automatically showing up even
though the costs are all entered into the inventory cards. Is there a way to
have those appear automatically??? It is very time consuming to have to go
to the card to see what the cost is and enter it manually for each item,
especially when you have 500 items to transfer.

Is there any way to change the Specning by Category pie chart on the home
page? I am trying to hide teh fact that 75% of the pie chart says "Wedding
Ring"!! I tried to remove the account (that i used to pay for the ring) from
budgeting. On the transaction itself, I said "Exclude from Budget".
Am I out of luck?

Thanks Paul. You're like the gazillionth person that told me not to
mess with root, and that's why I've been logging in using another
account I set up a while ago. This account is an administrator with
read/write permissions, so I still can't figure out why I'm getting
the error statement. I'm not using any aliases, I'm working with
Office straight from Applications.Your recommendation is to reload
Office under my administrator account? Thanks for your advice.

I have tried installing my English version of Office 2007 Standard several
times now, but every time it installs as a German version.
I had a trial version of Office 2007 Home and Student which was in German,
but even after deleting that, the Standard version won't install in English.

I'm running GP9, I installed a new company on ther server and everything went
fine. I opened the new company on my Vista machine and everything works fine,
I open on an XP machine and it asks me to run GP utilities, and I set the
dictionaries and then move on. Then when I click launch GP it says to run
Utilities again. Not sure what the problem is here?

I need to have one e-mail address for all office use. There are 2 ways. If a
make alias - distribution group I can get e-mail, but when I Reply mesg then
it's going from user mailing address (not from office@...).

This is going to sound sarcastic but you can't with Money D&B. You'll need
to use another program like Excel, Word, or even Quicken H&B.
Supposedly Money 2004 Small Business Edition finally allows discounts, but
this is just rumored. It actually was pulled out of the 2003 edition at the
last minute. Let's hope MS copies Intuit on this features implementation.
