SEND does not start Windows Live Mail

  • Follow

I have MS Office Word 2007 installed with Windows Live Mail Client. OS
version is Windows 7.

The send email feature within Word does not work. The error message : 'Login
failed. You must log on to Microsoft Exchange to accesss your address book.
Error code : 'Unspecified'.

All the MS Office applications have the same problem.

The Windows Live Mail client is open and running on my PC. The LAN
connection is working too.

What settings need to be changed to get Word 2007 to work with Windows Live
Mail client ?

Thanks

If I am not mistaken and I do not know WLM very well but I know that WLM does not
handle Word as HTML Editor or mailer. Best to ask in the WML newsgroup if it does or
someone will come along to confirm or correct me if that is the case
